Nadia Durvie Iliffe Guest artist - April 2005

Exploring the relationship between ourselves and the technologies we create is the central theme behind Nadia's mixed media artwork.
A key part of her artistic talent is the ability to combine technological symbols like computers or mechanical clocks with sculpture and painting. She particularly enjoys working in volume and using reactive metals like copper and titanium.
Nadia studied fine arts and photography at the Bournemouth College of Arts in the UK and graphic design at the "Ecole Superieure d'Art Moderne" in Paris. She worked as a graphic designer in Paris before moving to the US in 1999.
Nadia currently lives in Chicago and divides her time between her art and running her virtual reality based company Spin2see.
