Pit Kinzer Guest artist - February 2001

Pit Kinzer was born in 1951 in Ottobeuren/Germany. Formerly type-setter and architect, he began his career as a freelance painter and multimedia artist with etchings and drawings.
After working intensively with graphics, due to a solvent allergy he turned to other techniques: woodcut, acrylic painting, installations and for some years the "new media" (computer art, cd-rom, internet), which he also connects with the "old media".
Pit Kinzer works mainly in so called "projects", which deal with the same topic in different modes of expression.You can get a small impression of his work on the multimedia-cd-rom "Pit Kinzer - The Interactive Catalogue" and on his website. |
