Pietrino Di Sebastiano was born in 1956 in Civitella Messer Raimondo, Chieti, Italy where he still lives and works.
A self-taught photographer, he started working on his B/W shots in the early 1980's. In 1991 he became a member of FIAF (Federazione Associazioni Fotografiche) and also established the photography group "Circolo Fotografico Controluce" with some friends of his. In Torricella Peligna he opened "Fotobar Il Grottino" an exhibition space dedicated to the Federation members' shows.
He personally exhibited his works in many one-man and group shows and contests and some of his photos were published on the most important photography reviews.
Since 1997 he has been publishing some calendars for Mario Ianieri Editore, such as Juvanum and "Il Cuore Antico di Fara" for the cities of Montenerodomo and Fara San Martino. He has been the President of Controluce Photographic Group since 1999.
