Simone Perini Guest artist - March 2005

Simone Perini was born in 1969 and has always lived and worked in Livorno.
A graduate in Computer Science, he has been experimenting with photography for many years. He has exhibited and published his works in various national and international group and solo shows and specialized magazines.
In the 90's he started to study cubism and surrealism, especially Magritte and Dalì. In photography his inspirators and masters are Man Ray, Mappelthorpe, Elsdale and Galimberti.
In May 2003 he was honored with the "A.F.I." (Artist in Italian Photography) award by the F.I.A.F. (Italian Federation of Photographic Associations).
