Eve Riser-Roberts received her B.S. and M.S. from the University of Arizona and her Ph.D. from the University of London in Microbiology.
She worked for 20 years in scientific and medical research in the U.S., Germany, and England. She has published two technical books on how to clean up the environment from petroleum contamination.
Eve is now a full-time artist! She studied art in London and Wales and at Ventura College, CA, and has participated in numerous art workshops conducted by nationally acclaimed artists. Her oil paintings, etchings, acrylics, and watercolors are in collections in England, Germany, and the U.S. She is currently painting women, cats, and koi.

Eve doesn't copy her mentors' original paintings but uses their techniques and styles to reproduce their inner essence as-if in a completely original creation which has also Eve's own taste for artistic beauty."

The Famous Artists' Cats series has received numerous awards in juried competitions and received First Place in a competition at the Carnegie Art Museum in Oxnard, CA. A painting from another of Eve's series, Women in Love, received the Director's Choice Award from the Museum, and she subsequently presented this series in a solo show in the Art Museum in 2000.
